Jade Cauli - Padellig Creator

The story behind Serve & Spritz

When Padellig asked me to design my own padel racket, I didn't have to think for a second. As long as I can remember, I've been creating. As a child, I was already the one who saved papers, stickers, receipts, and packaging from everywhere. And my scrapbooks are still full of them. Where others saw clutter, I saw inspiration... that hasn't really changed.

My head is always full of ideas, and I have a love for everything that is just a little more colorful, crazier, and more striking. I draw my inspiration from the small moments of happiness that make life so enjoyable.
My Italian roots might explain why I'm so fond of color, conviviality, and enjoying life without haste. Italy feels to me like long summer evenings, good food, and spontaneous plans.

Lisbon also influenced my design style. I lived there for a while to pursue a minor in design. It's a city full of details. Colorful tiles, small streets, and unique architecture. If you look closely, inspiration truly is everywhere. You can see that way of looking in everything I create. I'm really someone who pays attention to details, and as IKEA's slogan says: 'Attention makes everything more beautiful.' I love designs that are just a little different. Not afraid to stand out. It's precisely that extra detail that makes people look twice. The best compliment you can give me isn't that something is beautiful, but when someone says: "How did you come up with that?"

I wanted to create that feeling with Serve & Spritz as well.
I wanted to create a padel racket where you constantly discover something new. I created all the elements on this racket myself. Many illustrations are hand-painted or digitally drawn. It's precisely that combination of craftsmanship, graphic design, and new technologies that makes the design unique in my eyes.

With this racket, I want to evoke the feeling of a spontaneous padel session with your friends, after which you linger a little too long on the terrace. The simple things that are so much fun.
And let's be honest... Padel is about the game, of course, but secretly, while playing, aren't you already thinking about that Aperol by the court later?🍊

I hope this racket reminds you to simply be yourself, try new things, and not wait for the perfect moment. But most of all, to create as many beautiful memories as possible with the people around you.

Can you spot all the details? 👀
Based on the elements on the racket, you'll get to know me even better!

🛵&🍝 A nod to my Italian roots. Italy feels to me like enjoying life without haste (Dolce far niente). And pasta carbonara is my favorite (without cream, of course ;).

🎾🪩 I play tennis myself and also padel regularly. The disco ball encourages making every moment a party!

🥠 If you look closely, you can find small moments of happiness everywhere. And what goes around comes around.

🌞 For me, it symbolizes the simplicity of life. The sun rises for free, and how beautiful is that! When the sun shines, you slowly see how positively the world changes; suddenly everyone smiles a little more and enjoys a little extra.

🐚&🐠 My love for travel, the sea, and surfing. I've been fortunate to see much of the world and draw enormous inspiration from other cultures and places.

🌶️&🐆 Dare to stand out, be brave, don't overthink, and most importantly, do what makes you happy.

👵🏼 The perfect moment doesn't exist. DO IT! Go, run, fly, fall, get up, dance, sing, jump, and enjoy! Because now is the moment, and later has already begun. Do what YOU want, and certainly don't waste your precious time on what others think.
